What's Wild Caught Art?

 

Wild Caught Art is a small art operation started by an ambitious grad student in October 2013; spearheaded by a future Speech Pathologist and made possible by a graphic artist father and supportive mother manager. I study, work, and teach people how to speak by day, and paint cartoons of animals in jars by night!   

 

 

I'm looking for a/an [insert cute animal here], but I can't find one! Can I make a special request?

Of course you can! I'm happy to design special orders and I'm always open to suggestions for new animals to paint. If you're interested in a painting with a specific animal that you can't find on the website, send me a quick note on the Contact page, and I'll get back to you with more information about the order or suggestion. 

 

 

A cute animal in a jar... what does it mean?!

 

The beauty of Wild Caught Art is that it can mean whatever you want it to! A painting of an adorable animal in a jar can be a unique addition to a nursery, bedroom, or even a great conversation piece in a living room. Does the animal look like one of your beloved pets? Or maybe the neighborhood raccoon who you wish you could capture and keep in a jar? Wild Caught Art gives you the chance to bring a spirited, little piece of nature into your home! Wild Caught Art cards are also great for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, and simply thoughtful notes.  

 

Can I find Wild Caught Art anywhere else around town?

 

Well yes, you certainly can. Wild Caught paintings and cards can be found in the Amber Sky gallery in Maplewood, MO. and Wild Caught cards are available in Christopher's in Kirkwood, MO. The artwork will also be featured in numerous art shows around the St. Louis area in the coming season.
